The United Arab Emirates have a strategic geographical position at the center of the main South-West directions. Thanks to the huge reserves of fossil fuels, that have played a decisive role in the economic growth, they have become in less than 50 years a strongly developed state with a high standard of living (GDP per capita is among the highest in the world).
The economy is open and dynamic and represents an interesting market for export. The UEA market is indeed the first outlet market for Italian companies in the Middle East area.
