SPS has been for the last 30 years the reference for the automation and this year it renews into Smart Production Solutions
SPS IPC Drives, iconic name in the automation industry, is reborn as SPS – Smart Production Solutions; it shows its ability to adapt to the digital transformation of the last years.
The 30th edition will take place in Nuremberg, from 26th to 28th November, with over 1650 exhibitors from all over the world (to get all the information about the event, check out the official website). As per every edition, there will be innovative products and solutions, technologies and future trends for the industrial automation. The figures for this event are raising year after year: in 2018 there were 1631 exhibitors, about 20 less than this year’s; even the number of visitors is destined to overpass 65,700.
Smart Production Solutions has caught the importance of digitalization in the automation industry. Therefore, the exhibitors will outline their applied solutions and new studied approaches.
During the fair, furthermore, there will be guided tours to visit single stands focusing on topics like: machine learning (to be updated on the topic, click here), Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security, all with real cases. Even a singular Automation Hackathon competition will take place, focused on finding useful and creative software solutions for automation. The competition will be positioned at the centre of the fair (pavilion 10.1) so that all visitors will be able to assist.
